Definition of Citizenship Status Types
Permanent Resident Alien:
Permanent residents of the United States who hold a valid Alien Registration card (also called a "Green Card") issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), formerly the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
Non Permanent Resident Alien:
Individuals legally residing in the U.S. who possess a both a valid visa and work authorizations.
